As someone injured by a vaccine, I’m overjoyed that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, under Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s leadership, plans to stop recommending routine COVID-19 shots for children and pregnant women. My experience taught me the risks of vaccines, particularly for young people, where evidence of effectiveness is shaky at best. Studies, like one from Johns Hopkins showing zero COVID mortality in healthy kids under 18, confirm these shots offer little benefit for low-risk groups. Pregnant women and children deserve protection from potential harm, not blanket mandates. Americans voted for Kennedy’s skepticism of Big Pharma and his push for transparency, and this move proves we made the right choice. It’s a victory for informed choice and prioritizing safety over dogma
